Interview:10 questions

1. When did you start making music, what is/was your motivation to do it?
I started make music when 3 and a half years ago.
I met to Carl Stone and I was galvanized.

2. Tell me something about your living environment and the musical education.
I am living in Japan, and I’m a postgraduate media science course.

3.Is making music your profession? What is the context in which you practice music
nowadays?

My main works is music.
but, now I make the installation work, too.

4. How do you compose or create music or sound? Have you certain principles, use certain styles etc?
I’m learning Max/MSP, My sounds are made from Max/MSP.
I don’t have clear principles, but now I’m interested in soundscape sound.
So, my sound made from that sound.

5. Tell me something about the instruments, technical equipment or tools you use?
I’m only use the PC. I think that the PC is perfect musical instruments.

6. What are the chances of New Media for the music production in general
and you personally?

It became very easy to make music from PC.
So, we are easy to come out good idea and good motivation.

7. How about producing and financing your musical productions?
All produce and financing is mine.

8. Do you work individually as a musician/soundartist or in a group or collaborative?
If you have experience in both, what is the difference, what do you prefer?

I experienced both.
Mostly, composition is one person, but the installation is a collaboration.
I like both, because, my world is expressible when it is one person.
Oppositely, the collaboration has a lot of new discoveries.

9. Is there any group, composer, style or movement which has a lasting influence on making music?

10. What are your future plans or dreams as a soundartist or musician?

I want to make an original album more.
