    Interview:10 questions

    1.
    Question:
    When did you start making music, what is/was your motivation to do it?
    Answer:
    My first music project was made as the soundtrack for a sculptural installation

    2.
    Question:
    Tell me something about your living environment and the musical education.
    Answer:
    I have virtually no musical education. i took lessons on various instruments and singing lessons as a child, but failed miserably.

    Question:
    Is making music your profession? What is the context in which you practice music nowadays?
    Answer:
    I make music projects as a tangential effort to my performance works.

    Question:
    How do you compose or create music or sound? Have you certain principles, use certain styles etc?
    Answer:
    I utilize my “unkaraoke” technique where the musicians wear headphones, listening to a song, and perform their own versions while the song is playing.

    Question:
    Tell me something about the instruments, technical equipment or tools you use?
    Answer:
    It’s actually quite lo-tech. i use one source, with headphone splitters, for the musicians to listen to, and then a regular recording studio or pa system.

    Question:
    What are the chances of New Media for the music production in general
    and you personally?
    Answer:
    I do sometimes mix the music on a computer, and if i was to collaborate with technicians, i would be open to creating mnew media projects.

    Question:
    How about producing and financing your musical productions?
    Answer:
    I produce and finanace my project 100% at the moment.

    Question:
    Do you work individually as a musician/soundartist or in a group or collaborative?
    Answer:
    Both
    Question:
    If you have experience in both, what is the difference, what do you prefer?
    Answer:
    I am always the leader or director when i work with a group. they are very different experiences, and i enjoy both.

    Is there any group, composer, style or movement which has a lasting influence on making music?
    Answer:
    I am a child of 80’s pop music

    Question:
    What are your future plans or dreams as a soundartist or musician?
    Answer:
    I am going to perform as nina hagen in berlin this summer, the clash in london in the fall, and blondie in new york for the winter of 2007. in addition to these live performances i would like to record and album where i vocalize all of the instruments, with a theme o classic rock.
